Christian Loitering

So, it happened again last night. Some friends and I thought about going somewhere to sit and hang out for an hour and instead we ended up talking at church for an hour in a phenomenon I like to call "Christian loitering." At my last church we called it "Parking Lot Syndrome" or PLS for short. What is it about us Christians that makes us stand in the parking lot for sometimes multiple hours, talking instead of going somewhere? So, last night, Aaron and I wanted to go to the Yardhouse and Tyler and Kevin said they were too tired and wanted to go home. So after several "goodbyes" we all ended up leaving for home at midnight! If we had just gone to the Yardhouse right away, we could've hung out over drinks and appetizers! But then again, we ended up having a ton of fun out there in the parking lot AND it didn't cost us any money. So maybe there's something to this PLSing...

Oh my goodness, this is so funny. We are a total PSL family. We are always the last to leave. I feel like Shawn Scott should just hand us the keys and tell us to lock up behind us.
